A threat to justice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere and in this spirit those who struggle for justice here in America have been motivated to travel to Cairo to take that spirit of the struggle for social justice and transplant that non-violent spirit of political action to Egypt to protest the illegal detention of political activists exercising their legal  political rights.

I am proud that I was able to bring anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan and former US Congressman Walter Fauntroyto Cairo with me to protest the unlawful detention of Egyptian political activists.
